What can I say... I'm employed in the IT field and I enjoy photography, and digital is certainly cheaper than film. I've invested a lot into perfecting my equipment and my art. For those who are curious about what exactly I use, and just for my own purposes, I've got a list...
Desktop
After starting to work with Microsoft's Virtual PC/Server software, and the combination of that and my photography means that 1 GB RAM and 80 GB of disk space was not enough. And of course, if you are going to dedicate more resources to Virtual PC, might as well make sure it can function on its own and provide services as needed. I understand that Vista may barely get by with 2 GB RAM, so I'll probably have to buy another memory upgrade and just go to 4 GB which is pretty extreme.
